Micro Adventure Time
Perhaps you do not want to commit to a full on weekend trip, or you might already be staying in the area on holiday and want to spice it up with a micro adventure.
Look no further! Join me on a micro adventure in the Perthshire area.
I have carefully put together this 18 hour micro adventure experience from 5pm one day until 11am the next. This micro adventure is for people who need a little break from daily life and want to do something different. Or it could be you might only have time for a micro adventure in your busy schedule.
You do not need any special equipment, just a love of the outdoors and a sense of adventure!
Group sizes are from one camper to a maximum of six so that everyone gets more time to take in such a memorable experience.
Here is how it goes:
Grab your walking boots and put on some comfortable (hiking) clothes
Put a sleeping bag*, a change of clothes, a toilet bag, a head torch and a snack/food for later in a rucksack.
Contact me at Walks ’n’ Talks to arrange a date for your micro adventure between 5pm and 11am the next day.
Meet me and then get all your gear with any extras fitted into the backpack
Walk for two hours or so to a comfortable camping spot for the night.
Set up camp using a high quality, lightweight tent or shelter that you could borrow from me.
Enjoy a hot drink and some food before spending a quiet, comfortable night out under the stars.
Wake up bright and early with a cup of coffee amongst the beautiful sights and sounds of the forest, hills or river.
Pack up, then walk off to one of our local bakeries or cafes for a second breakfast.
Get home before lunch and tell all your friends and family how much fun it was and that they should go for a micro adventure themselves.
*If you don’t have any gear, or just some of it, I have two full sets of lightweight camping gear available for you to borrow for an additional £20 per set. The set includes: 58L Osprey backpack, lightweight tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat and stove.
